  • The Country Music Association has announced that the first round of performers for the 55th Annual CMA Awards will include Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, Jimmie Allen, and Brothers Osborne. The show will also feature two collaborations: Ashley McBryde with Carly Pearce and Mickey Guyton with Brittney Spencer and Madeline Edwards.

  • Garth Brooks revealed his two-night residency, Garth, The Ryman & You, at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on November 19th & 20th.

  • Brandi Carlile announced she will be hitting the road for her Beyond These Silent Days Tour in June 2022. Carlile also made her SNL debut over the weekend, performing "Broken Horses" and "Right on Time" off her new album, In These Silent Days.

  • Scotty McCreery has announced his 2022 Same Truck tour will kick off on January 20th in Raleigh, North Carolina. King Calaway will open all of McCreery's 2022 concerts, and Tenille Arts, Callista Clark, and Kameron Marlowe will join on select dates.

  • Chris Stapleton shared on Instagram that he had rescheduled three shows due to laryngitis. Stapleton's Sioux Falls concert has been rescheduled for November 14th, while his Nashville concerts are now December 10th-11th, and his Cincinnati, Ohio show will be in reset in 2022.

  • Ashley McBryde added 18 more stops to her This Town Talks Tour, extending the tour through early April.

  • Carrie Underwood's duet with CeCe Winan of "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" won a GMA Dove Award.

  • Brittney Spencer announced her first-ever headlining tour: In a Perfect World tour.

  • Jessie James Decker revealed that her The Woman I've Become tour with opening act Adam Doleac will kick off on April 14th, 2022.

  • Lauren Alaina partnered with the Grand Ole Opry and Susan G. Komen to commemorate breast cancer awareness month by turning the Opry's famous barn pink.

  • Lady A released their new album, What A Song Can Do, which featured the mega-collaboration "Friends Don't Let Friends," featuring Carly Pearce, Darius Rucker, and Thomas Rhett.

  • Pistol Annies released their debut holiday album, Hell of a Holiday.

  • HARDY dropped the latest song off Hixtape Vol. 2, "Drink Up," featuring Lee Brice and Randy Houser.

  • Eric Church premiered his "Heart On Fire" music video.

  • Jimmie Allen released a new song, "My Voice Is a Trumpet," which shares its name with his just-released children's book. Allen also partnered with Sir Elton John to duet "Beauty in the Bones" on John's new album, The Lockdown Sessions.

  • Zac Brown Band released the music video for the title track of their newest album, The Comeback.

  • Tenille Arts released her new single, "Growing Old Young."

  • Parker McCollum dropped his special edition single, "Blanco County Rain."

  • Dillon Carmichael released his latest track, "Son Of A."

  • Jon Langston released his new single, "When You're Lonely."

  • Reyna Roberts premiered her Tennessee Titans-themed track, "Countdown To Victory," during the Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans matchup from Nissan Stadium.

  • Kassi Ashton released her new single, "Heavyweight."

  • Jackson + Sellers released their debut album, Breaking Point.

  • Jessie James Decker released her new EP, The Woman I've Become.

COUNTRY CHRISTMAS WATCH

New holiday releases just in time for the season


  • Carrie Underwood released a special edition of her Christmas record, My Gift, which includes three brand new tracks: "Favorite Time of Year," "All is Well," and "Let There Be Peace/Something In The Water."

  • Josh Turner dropped his first Christmas album, King Size Manger, on October 8th. On November 18 he will hit the road for his supporting Holiday & The Hits tour.

  • Kelly Clarkson released new Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around, along with a new single, "Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)."

  • Pistol Annies released Hell Of A Holiday — the group's first Christmas record.

  • Brett Young released Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classics on October 22nd. Accompanying the album is a television special, CMT Crossroads Christmas: Brett Young & Friends, slated to air in the weeks after the album release.

  • Brett Eldredge released his latest Holiday album, Mr. Christmas on October 22nd. Eldredge will hit the road for his Glow Live Tour in November, playing nine holiday concerts across the country.

  • Mitchell Tenpenny's Naughty List, an 11-song Christmas album, will be available October 29th.

  • Amanda Shires is releasing her first-ever Christmas album, For Christmas, out November 12th.
