Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Zac Brown Band. Lady A, Ingrid Andress, Breland, King Calaway, Riley Green, Sam Hunt, Chris Janson, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, and Lainey Wilson make up the star-packed line-up for NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE'S BIG BASH. The five-hour show will feature nearly 50 back-to-back performances and air live from Nashville on Friday, December 31st at 9 p.m., CT on CBS Network.

  • Tisha Yearwood invited Lauren Alaina to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.

  • Carly Peace announced that she will be continuing her 29 Tour in 2022. She has pledged that $1 per ticket sold will go towards tornado relief for her native Kentucky. Tickets for Pearce's tour with Hannah Ellis are on sale now.

  • Dolly Parton set three Guinness World Records: female with the most decades (seven) spent on the US Hot Country Songs chart, country female with the most No. 1 hits on the Billboard US Hot Country Songs, and for having the most hits on the chart in general with 109 on Billboard.

  • Garth Brooks announced two intimate Las Vegas shows at Doly Live at Park MGM on February 4th and 5th to celebrate his 60th birthday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on December 22nd.

  • Maddie & Tae revealed their new ep Through the Madness Vol. 1 will be released on January 28th. The EP will include the duo's current single, "Woman You Got," and "Madness."

  • Ashley Monroe of the Pistol Annies took to social media to share that she has finished her last chemotherapy treatment. Earlier this year, the singer was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, waldenstrom macroglobulinemia. Additionally, singer Ava Paige shared that she has also concluded her chemotherapy treatments.

Mickey Guyton and Vince Gill partnered for the single "Love Changes Everything" from the just-released film American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story.

  • Morgan Wallen joined rapper Lil Durk for his new song, "Broadway Girls."

  • Rob Mayes released his new ballad, "Can't Go Another Day."

  • Russell Dickerson gifted fans a wedding version of his love song, "Love You Like I Used To."

COUNTRY CHRISTMAS WATCH

New holiday releases just in time for the season


  • Carrie Underwood released a special edition of her Christmas record, My Gift, which includes three brand new tracks: "Favorite Time of Year," "All is Well," and "Let There Be Peace/Something In The Water."

  • Josh Turner dropped his first Christmas album, King Size Manger, on October 8th. On November 18th he will hit the road for his supporting Holiday & The Hits tour.

  • Kelly Clarkson released her new Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around, along with a new single, "Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)."

  • Pistol Annies released Hell Of A Holiday — the group's first Christmas record.

  • Brett Young released Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classics on October 22nd. Accompanying the album is a television special, CMT Crossroads Christmas: Brett Young & Friends, slated to air in the weeks following the album release.

  • Brett Eldredge released his latest Holiday album, Mr. Christmas on October 22nd. Eldredge will hit the road for his Glow Live Tour in November, playing nine holiday concerts across the country.

  • Mitchell Tenpenny's released Naughty List, an 11-song Christmas album, on October 29th.

  • Carly Pearce dropped a cover of the Christmas classic, "Mary Did You Know."

  • Tiffany Woys' released her rendition of the holiday classic, "Where Are You Christmas."

  • Amanda Shires dropped her first-ever Christmas album, For Christmas.

  • Randy Travis released his 1989 Christmas album An Old Time Christmas. The deluxe edition features never-before-heard tracks, “Little Toy Trains,” “There’s a New Kid in Town” and “White Christmas.”

  • Morgan Wade released her rendition of the Christmas classic, "I'll Be Home for Christmas."

  • Lainey Wilson joined actor Daren Criss on "Drunk on Christmas," the lead single off Criss' new album, A Very Darren Crisstmas.

  • Amanda Shires released her rendition of holiday classic “Silent Night.”

  • Carrie Underwood released her new holiday anthem, “Stretchy Pants.”

  • Mickey Guyton released her new version of “O Holy Night.”

  • Sam Williams released a new song, “Snow Angels.”

  • Honey County released their cover of “Do You Want To Build A Snowman.”

  • Jordan Rowe released his Christmas single, "Hometown Christmas."

  • Kelleigh Bannen released her new holiday single, “Last Year,” featuring Brad Paisley.

  • Reba released her holiday album, I Need Christmas.

  • Craig Campbell released a moving version "White Christmas," which features his wife and two daughters.

  • Emma & Jolie released their new holiday song, "A Million Christmas Trees."
