  • Garth Brooks canceled the remaining dates of his 2021 Stadium Tour due to the surge of COVID-19 cases nationwide.

  • Jimmie Allen and Lindsay Ell are set to perform at the Back to School free virtual concert Thursday, August 26, live in Nashville.

  • Don Everly, of the country-rock group The Everly Brothers and member of the country music & rock and roll hall of fames has passed away at the age of 84.

  • Alan Jackson, Brittney Spencer, Trace Adkins and Ronnie Dunn were added to the 2021 ACM Honors performance lineup. The show is set for Wednesday, Aug. 25 at the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

  • The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards is set to livestream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in 2022.
