Alissa Griffith drops seventh independent release

Alissa Griffith's latest release, "Somebody Else's Somebody," is the lead single from her upcoming album, Walk on Water, set for release in late August. The song is also her seventh independent release.

Among her soothing vocals and a familiar backtrack filled with the sounds of classic and new country music, Griffith shares a vulnerable reflection on a past love and what could have been—an, unfortunately, all-too-familiar feeling for many.

"And I never thought you could un-love me / But now you’re somebody else’s somebody."
