Bluegrass Titans Dailey & Vincent Cross Over Into Country Music
Updated: Sep 17
Longtime bluegrass legends Dailey & Vincent have just dropped their debut country album, Let’s Sing Some Country! On this record, the Grammy award-winning band collaborates with several prominent artists. They include including Queen of Bluegrass and Grammy winner Rhonda Vincent, as well as country icon and 18-time CMA Award winner Vince Gill. The album’s producer, Paul Worley, describes it as one of the best works he’s ever done. Dailey & Vincent describe the process of recording Let’s Sing Some Country! as “one of the biggest highlights of [their] career,” and “an education and an unforgettable experience.”
Before Let’s Sing Some Country!, the band had released nine bluegrass albums, including seven with the prestigious bluegrass label Rounder Records. Recognized by the International Bluegrass Music Association, Billboard, and the Dove Awards, Dailey & Vincent have cemented their status among the great musicians in bluegrass and folk. Now, the legends dabble in country, but not without heavily incorporating the traditional Tennessee bluegrass they have become known for. Dailey & Vincent flawlessly merge elements of several genres to create the perfect record.
From the emotional and authentic “Colder Than Winter,” to the fun and upbeat “Dig A Little Deeper In The Well,” to the classic "I'll Leave My Heart In Tennessee," Dailey & Vincent’s first country album is filled with masterpieces. While they will always hold their bluegrass roots close to their hearts, Dailey & Vincent have proved that they can master - and put their own spin on - any genre of music.
