Carly Pearce Announces Live Album Of Nashville Concert Set For March 24th Release
On Thursday night, Carly Pearce blessed fans with the ultimate surprise. She announced a live version of her career-defining third studio album, set to drop March 24th. 29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City) will immortalize her Marathon Music Works show.
In this project, her current Top 8 radio hit "What He Didn't Do" and the Grammy-winning "Never Wanted To Be That Girl" (feat. Ashley McBryde) are already available on streaming platforms. Plus, fans can pre-order signed CDs and vinyls on her website. The tracklist includes the entirety of 29: Written In Stone, in addition to "Truth Be Told" (feat. Matthew West), "Every Little Thing," "Hide The Wine," and "I Hope You're Happy Now" (feat. Lee Brice).
We especially can't wait to hear "Should've Known Better" (Live From Music City) - true fans of Carly will know how it just hits different live. Right before the last chorus, she always pauses for a second and invites the audience to scream. This moment goes to show not only the strong connection between Carly and her fans, but also how genuine (and adorable) of a human being she is. Ugh, we love her.
We're also excited for a live version of "Messy." This track contains some of her rawest, most vulnerable songwriting, which reminds us that it's okay not to be okay. It has helped many see the light at the end of the tunnel - with some fans even expressing that it's the song that saved their life. The studio version already makes us weak, and we can't even imagine the waterworks that a live version would bring.
Needless to say, March 24th can't come fast enough. The emotional rollercoaster that day brings will be unmatched, as we'll be hearing one of our favorite albums for the first time again. We can't think of a better way to close out the 29 era. WE LOVE YOU CARLY!!!
