Chancey Williams Rides High With New Album 'Miles On Me'

There’s a certain kind of grit you can’t fake, the kind earned under wide Wyoming skies and in rodeo arenas where the dust never quite settles. Chancey Williams has always carried that authenticity in his voice, and with his brand-new album Miles On Me, out today on all streaming platforms, he proves once again that he’s not just wearing the hat, he’s lived every lyric stitched into it.

Before country music called, Williams was a saddle bronc athlete, a real-deal cowboy with the scars and stories to prove it. That life bleeds through his songs, shaping them with a lived-in wisdom that only miles on the road and years in the saddle can bring. On Miles On Me, he sharpens his sound without losing that trail dust edge, delivering his most confident, soulful, and vocally flawless work to date.

The record’s crown jewel, “Past the Point of Rescue,” sits proudly at track four and it’s a knockout. Produced and directed by Kenzie Holmberg of Bonafide Cowboy, the official music video drops alongside the album and captures the song’s heart with cinematic precision. Williams’ vocals soar with a control and conviction that mark a new chapter in his artistry, bridging the rodeo dirt with the neon glow of a honky-tonk stage.

“I am super proud of this album. I think it really represents my best body of work, to date, and who I am as an artist right now,” said Williams of the project. “The record is produced by Brice Long, who has become a great friend and this entire album are songs we worked on together.  Brice really understands me and what I'm all about.  But he also pushes me to consider cutting songs I might not have, and the importance of saying something new with each release.  We're really having fun and, I think, just getting started.”

There’s something timeless in the way Williams tells a story, equal parts heartbreak, resilience, and the kind of self-assured calm that only comes from knowing who you are. Miles On Me doesn’t just ride, it gallops, pulling listeners past the point of rescue and straight into the beating heart of modern cowboy country.

In a landscape full of singers playing cowboy, Chancey Williams stands tall as the real thing, dust on his boots, truth in his lyrics, and miles of music still ahead.
