With his signature twang, Williams narrates the harrowing truth of how being in a relationship with a cowboy can be well a tad difficult. The guitar laden track showcases Williams' signature tone while he breaks his cowgirl's heart with the oldest trick in the book, it isn't you, it's me.

"I've been looking forward to 'It Ain't You' coming out. This one is a heater, man, and we love playing it live. Jody Stevens and I wrote it, and my friend Trent Willmon produced. It's about a guy that is kind of hard to love. Not really because of any serious transgressions, but more because he just can't quite grow up enough. Maybe I saw myself as this guy, a little bit, haha," Williams tells All Country News.

Arguably, there’s no one better to tell stories about horses than a former Saddle Bronc athlete himself. Chancey Williams, influenced by his upbringing in the Wyoming countryside, allows these experiences to translate into song lyrics. With a touch of 90's honky tonk, Williams truly has found his niche.

His refreshingly honest lyrics, stark storytelling and craveable western twang make it easy to love this cowboy.

Williams most recently stepped into the famous Opry circle and made his highly anticipated Grand Ole Opry debut in April, and took the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at this year’s CMA Music Festival in June.
