Chris Stapleton Partners With RAM Trucks for "I'm A Ram" Cover

Chris Stapleton always loves to pay homage to his favorite artists by covering their songs. "If there's a good song out there, it's always worth singing even if you didn't write it," he says. In his most recent project, the superstar has recorded his rendition of "I'm A Ram," a 70s classic originally by Al Green.

RAM Trucks has already featured snippets of it in their commercials, but Stapleton will release the full-length track this coming Friday. For our vinyl-collecting country music fans, Stapleton has a 7" record of the single available to pre-order in his bio. RAM Trucks, a spin-off from Dodge, is one of the most iconic and bestselling companies for trucks. They commented "Big things coming," with an eye emoji, on Stapleton's Instagram post promoting his Al Green cover - teasing the continuation of their partnership.

Known for classic hits like "Tennessee Whiskey" and "Starting Over," Stapleton has served as one of country music's greatest forces for many years. Currently up for five CMA nominations including Entertainer Of The Year and Single Of The Year, the superstar continues to accomplish big things in his career. He's also set to play six shows with titan George Strait at markets around the country next summer, for which tickets went on sale last Friday.

Stapleton will undoubtedly put a refreshing spin on the classic Al Green song. Its incorporation into RAM Trucks commercials is iconic, and it looks like they have even more in store for us. We can't wait to put this new "I'm A Ram" cover on repeat!
