CMT set to highlight essential workers in new special

CMT’s new special, CMT Celebrates Our Heroes: An Artists of the Year Special, will air on Wednesday, June 3 at 8pm ET on CMT and is set to feature a star-studded line up that will recognize essential workers fighting on the frontlines of the pandemic.

The uplifting celebration will feature messages and performances from some of the largest names in country music including Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, and Lady Antebellum.

According to CMT.com, artist will recognize those that work in industries, including but not limited to healthcare, food and service, industry and small business, infrastructure, US military, and first responders.
