Updated: Mar 12, 2023

Who doesn't love a Scotty McCreery show! Plus when you are giving back to the community it feels even better!

Over the weekend country music crooner Scotty McCreery helped out the town of Lufkin, Texas in a BIG WAY!

The new dad Scotty McCreery headlined the “Good for Country” concert presented by UBank at the George H. Henderson Expo Center folks. The star played his hits "5 More Minutes," and his new hit "Damn Strait," in front of a sold-out crowd of 4,500.

More than $30,000 was raised for the food bank, which according to Lufkin Daily News article, is more than the amount of the previous three “Good for Country” concerts combined.

"I think we all have to help each other out when we can," Scotty said of the event. Scotty is currently on his own headlining tour and will be hitting the road with Brooks & Dunn later this year!
