Country Music Standout Dylan Marlowe Drops His Latest Offering With “Why’d We Break Up Again”

“Why’d We Break Up Again” will be the first track released this Fall before Dylan heads out on the road with Cole Swindell for his Back Down To The Bar Tour.

Following his high-energy, must-watch CMA Fest performance in June and his tour this past spring with Dylan Scott, Marlowe has built a solid engaged fan base city-by-city resulting in him having accumulated over 14 million streams just in the last three months.

“Why’d We Break Up Again” is Marlowe’s fresh take on the familiar breakup songs which are typically about drinking and partying. Instead, the Georgia native tells the story of a toxic relationship that draws him back in every time he tries to end the relationship. Accompanied by Marlowe's clever lyrics and Georgia twang, its so surprise this tune was a clear choice for Dylan.

“We are about to go on the road starting in September and I was looking for a song that was uptempo with high energy to keep my fans engaged,” said Marlowe. “This track is a mix of country and rock, like the songs that I grew up listening to. The story behind the song is a situation that almost everyone's been in before."

The Georgia native has also had an impressive songwriting year, with cuts like "Last Night Lonely" for Jon Pardi and others.

Marlowe, who wrapped his major tour debut earlier this year with artist Dylan Scott’s “Livin’ My Best Life Tour,” prepares to hit the road next month after receiving an invitation to join 11-time No. 1 multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell’s Back Down To The Bar Tour which will run through end of November.
