Thanks to platforms like TikTok and the rise of streaming, Illinois native Zimmerman has taken the country world by storm. Country fans were first introduced to Bailey with "Fall In Love." Zimmerman wrote “Fall In Love” with Austin Shawn and Gavin Lucas. While it comes with a dreamy title, it’s actually not the romantic ballad you think it is. In fact, it laments lost love that’s been delivered with a “gritty, modern-Americana country vibe.”

“Fall In Love” tells the story of a guy whose girlfriend ended up moving from their hometown to South Carolina, leaving him for another man who put a rock on her finger and built her a house right by the coast. While she’s now living in indulgence, one thing is for sure – her brand-new man doesn’t know her as the narrator did.
Now, the man in the song has become a walking testimony of a broken heart, and this heartbreaking ballad is his confession that should serve as a lesson to many people.
“After you lose that special person you never thought you’d lose, it’s hard to want to give love a second chance,” Zimmerman said about the song. “We felt like we could relate to a lot of people by shining a light on that feeling.”
But Zimmerman didn't stop there, with an army of social media followers Bailey struck gold again with "Rock and A Hard Place." This song screams to the heartbrokenness we have all felt in a relationship in a clever and gut wrenching way. It makes you stop and feel, is that the goal of country music?
Warner newcomer Bailey Zimmerman‘s “Rock And A Hard Place” creeps into the top five country streaming songs this week. The follow-up single to his viral “Fall In Love,” the new track comes in at No. 4 with 8.7 million streams this week, according to Luminate data.
Zimmerman cut “Rock and a Hard Place” after first hearing one of the song’s co-writers, Heath Warren, perform it on his Instagram page. “When I listen to outside cuts, I’m listening for the very first line. If it doesn’t grab me, I’m like, ‘No.’ But as soon as I heard that on Heath’s Instagram, and I heard the line, ‘Like swinging and missing,’ I knew that I wanted to cut it. It was [in the] perfect key and everything.”
Now signed to Warner Music Nashville, Bailey Zimmerman is heading out on tour. And not the surprise of many modern country music haters, has sold out his 8 show tour.
Bailey's tour kicks off August 25th in Mississippi and wraps on October 21st at the famed Peaches in Rome, Georgia.
