Craig Morgan Is Giving Fans a Once-in-a-Lifetime Way to Celebrate Veterans Day in Nashville

The Country Star Announces First-Ever Veterans Day 5K Before Historic Ryman Performance.

Craig Morgan has never been the kind of artist to separate his music from his mission. Long before he topped country charts and became a Grand Ole Opry member, Morgan proudly served in the United States Army and Army Reserve, a commitment to service that continues to define his career today.

Now, the country singer is inviting fans to be part of something much bigger than a concert.

On Saturday, November 7, just hours before taking the stage for a headlining performance at Nashville's iconic Ryman Auditorium, Morgan will host the inaugural Craig Morgan's Veterans Day 5K, supported by Humana, at the Grand Ole Opry House.

More Than a Race—A Tribute to America's Heroes

The first-ever event is designed to honor veterans while bringing together runners, walkers, active-duty military members, veterans, military families and supporters for a morning centered on gratitude, remembrance and community.

"We celebrate Veterans Day each year to honor the men and women who have served our great nation in our US military," Morgan shared. "I am inviting you to join me on

November 7 to run, honor and remember our Veterans during this first-ever race and give back to those who have already given us so much."

Whether participants are chasing a personal record, honoring a loved one who served or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend Veterans Day weekend, the event promises a uniquely Nashville experience with a patriotic finish-line celebration, commemorative race swag and a professionally timed 5K.

Every Step Helps Veterans

The event isn't just about crossing the finish line, it also gives back.

A portion of proceeds will benefit four organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and military families:

  • Opry Trust Fund

  • Operation Finally Home

  • USO

  • Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation

The race will also offer an exclusive VIP pre-race meet-and-greet with Craig Morgan, with limited spots available for fans looking to kick off the day with one of country music's most respected voices.

A Mission That Extends Beyond the Stage

Morgan's commitment to honoring America's servicemen and women has remained a constant throughout his career. His latest single, "Blanket of Stars," continues that mission, paying tribute to the sacrifice, courage and dedication of those who have served.

Written by Johnny Cummings and Krista Marie and produced by Morgan alongside Phil O'Donnell and Mickey Jack Cones, the heartfelt track reflects Morgan's rare perspective as both a country music star and a veteran.

For Craig Morgan, Veterans Day has never been just another date on the calendar. This November, he's turning it into an opportunity for country music fans to lace up their running shoes, give back and stand alongside those who have sacrificed so much for the nation, all before one unforgettable night at the Mother Church of Country Music.
