“I knew as soon as we finished writing it,” White shared with All Country News. “Sometimes you write a song and it feels like a good idea or a clever turn of phrase, but every now and then one comes along that feels more like you just stumbled onto something honest.”

“There was just a magic to that first recording that we knew we probably couldn’t recreate by polishing it too much,” White shared with All Country News. “It was just three people in a room trying to tell the truth.”
