Has it been 95 years already? Time flies when you're listening to country music!
The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating 95 years as the most iconic country music stage in the industry with an NBC Special, "Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music," on February 14. Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley are set to host the two-hour special, which will look into the history of country music and its artists since the stage's inception in 1925.
While a full list of performers and guests hasn't been announced yet, viewers can expect to see a special announcement from Opry member, Darius Rucker, who surprised Lady A with an invitation to join the Opry as official members during the taping of their performance for the upcoming special. Rucker shared with the trio that their membership is effective immediately.
Tune in on Sunday, February 14 at 9pm ET.
