If you happen to be a country fan to has been living under a rock you may not know the record breaking song, but we are here to change that! During the kickoff weekend of HARDY's the mockingbird & THE CROW Fall Tour the headliner and good friend and opener Lainey Wilson were surprised with plaques for their hit song wait in the truck. The song showcases HARDY's masterful songwriting and topped the country charts earlier this spring.
The powerful track was penned by HARDY alongside Hunter Phelps, Jordan Schmidt, and Renee Blair, addresses domestic violence and sheds light on the often taboo topic. The equally powerful music video furthers both stars impressive artistry.
Following a handful of performances of the song on both the Tonight Show, CMA Awards and others, the friends now find themselves on tour singing the emotional fan favorite for sold out crowds every night.
