HARDY Announces New Album And Tour In Wake Of Bus Accident
The last 24 hours have seen quite the activity on social media for HARDY.
Most importantly, HARDY shared on his Instagram stories that he and all of his team are "feeling much better" and "definitely on the upswing". It's great to hear that everyone is doing okay.
Furthermore, HARDY said he wants to "keep the train rolling" with all of the announcements and updates he has with his new music. He surprised fans last night by immediately dropping three new songs. These tracks are out now, and include "here lies country music", "TRUCK BED", "the mockingbird & THE CROW." All songs are absolutely worth checking out.
But that's not all. He also announced a brand new album coming January 20, 2023 which will include a massive 17 song tracklist, titled "the mockingbird & THE CROW." But Hardy isn't stopping there. Today, Hardy kept the train going with the announcement of a tour to accompany the album!
“I’m incredibly grateful to be able to bring this record to you next year. Touring it is something I’ve been thinking about since we started the recording process,” HARDY said. “This album is my best work so far. I truly believe that, and I want this tour to reflect that every night. Excited to have my buddies Blame My Youth and Jameson out with me; it’s going to be crazy.”
The trek, which features support from Jameson Rodgers and Blame My Youth, kicks off on February 16 at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, Indiana, and continues through April 29, where the tour wraps up at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas.
HARDY’s headlining tour will visit several major cities along the way, including New York, Atlanta, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Denver and more.
“The mockingbird & THE CROW is, in my opinion, the best thing I've made so far,” HARDY shared in a recent press release. “I had a lot of time to get in the weeds making this record with some of my favorite people in Nashville, and it truly captures every part of who I am as an artist. I'm honored that I get to share it with you next year; can't wait to hear what you think about it.”
According to that Big Loud press release, HARDY has earned a billion on-demand album streams, spending over 106 weeks on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart including a top five debut, and certified gold by the RIAA. Even with just the three new songs added today (in addition to the three already released), this partially completed album already topped the Apple Music country albums chart on Monday, October 10th. In the meantime, fans will anxiously be waiting for the other eleven songs to be released.
