Seven-year-old Logan was invited on stage to join Green for a heartfelt performance of “Jesus Saves,” and the emotional moment quickly became one fans in attendance won’t soon forget. Standing beside one of country music’s biggest stars, Logan sang with confidence, heart, and a smile that lit up the entire venue.

And according to Logan, he knew the moment was coming before Riley even said a word.

“I knew when he saw me — he remembered me,” Logan shared with All Country News. “He pointed at me and I knew that we would sing. I got really excited. I love singing with him.”

For the young country fan, the moment felt completely natural. Despite standing in front of a massive crowd, Logan says hearing the audience sing along only made the experience even more special.

“I enjoyed them singing with me — I think they liked when I sing,” he said sweetly. “Some people were cheering for me.”

While Logan was soaking in the moment on stage, his mom Ashley was watching from the crowd, trying to hold back tears as she watched her son live out a dream in real time.

“It was so surreal,” Ashley admitted. “Definitely brought the tears. Watching him stand on stage beside someone he looks up to so much brought a lot of emotions. But more than anything, I was proud.” She continued, “I was proud of the little boy he is, the heart he sings with, and proud to see someone like Riley recognize him.”

The emotional performance became even more meaningful because of the genuine connection between Logan and Riley Green. According to Logan, Riley made him feel right at home throughout the entire performance.

“He gave me a good handshake and smile,” Logan recalled. “He’s my best friend so he was ready for me. He smiled at me the whole time. I think he was proud of me.”

It’s impossible not to smile hearing Logan talk about the country superstar with such admiration and innocence.

And when it came to why “Jesus Saves” resonated so deeply with the crowd that night, both Logan and his mom believe the answer was simple: authenticity.

“Everybody loves that song and they love when me & Riley sing it,” Logan said.

Ashley added, “It was just a good genuine moment. Logan and Riley sang it with sincerity and emotion… it’s a great song. I think anytime you sing a song about a little faith, people come together. Hearing little Logan give it his all was just so pure.”

Perhaps the sweetest part of the entire story is the memory Logan says he’ll carry with him forever.

“I’m happy my mom takes me there,” he shared. “I love being on stage and singing with Riley. I wore my duck calls for him and he saw them. I can’t wait to see him again. I’ll show him how to blow a duck call. We will sing together again.”

Ashley says the night reminded her exactly why Riley Green means so much to so many country music fans.

“I’ll always be thankful for somebody like Riley Green for Logan to look up to,” she said. “He’s what country music should be. Watching your son live out his dream at 7 is something you just can’t explain.”

Moments like these are what country music is all about, genuine connection, heartfelt songs, and memories that last forever. And for one little boy named Logan, a night in Alpharetta turned into a dream he’ll never forget.
