Ian Munsick Brings Cowboy Vibes and Live Music to Deadwood This August

Wyoming-born country star Ian Munsick is turning Deadwood, South Dakota, into a bona fide western playground this August with the opening of the Ian Munsick Cowboy Bar & Western Grill at the historic Landmark Hotel & Casino. Think old-school cowboy bar meets modern country music haven and yes, it’s exactly as fun as it sounds.

Housed in Deadwood’s largest historic building, constructed between 1894 and 1920, the new venue will span over 2,600 square feet of bar, grill, and music magic. Two stages, one indoors, one outdoors, will host live country performances that promise to turn any evening into a full-on honky-tonk experience. And with décor inspired by classic western saloons, fans can sip a cold beer while soaking up that authentic cowboy atmosphere.

“Country stars and bars, it’s a tale as old as time,” Munsick shares. “I’m beyond excited to announce the opening of Ian Munsick’s Cowboy Bar & Western Grill. The brainchild of my wife, Caroline, you won’t find a better place to have a beer or three. Live music, great food, and all the western vibes that make a real cowboy bar… Deadwood just got a little better!”

The Landmark Hotel & Casino couldn’t be more thrilled. “We welcome Ian and his fans to a classic, best-in-region cowboy bar experience with great drinks, food and music,” says Managing Partner Gerard Keating. “And this is just the start, plans are underway for a recording studio in the adjacent space.”

The announcement comes amid the excitement of Munsick’s Eagle Flies Free Tour, which kicked off February 13 in Charlotte, N.C., and rolls through cities like Spokane, Wash.; Fargo, N.D.; and Durant, Okla. Fans can expect rotating special guests, including Lanie Gardner, Ben Haggard, Tyler Nance, Kenny Whitmire, and Jake Worthington. The tour culminates with Munsick’s second headlining show at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre on August 25, joined by ERNEST and Ned LeDoux.

Fans can also catch Munsick’s latest single, “Geronimo”, the first under his WEST TO THE REST RECORDS/Triple Tigers Records partnership, with a music video shot in Wyoming and produced by Caroline Munsick.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a place where country music, good food, cold drinks, and cowboy vibes collide, Ian Munsick’s new bar is your ticket. Deadwood is officially riding into a brighter, louder, and more authentic western future, and you’re invited to pull up a chair.
