Inside Morgan Wallen’s Exclusive Nashville Performance Fans Weren’t Ready For

Morgan Wallen is officially back, and if his latest Nashville stop is any indication, 2026 might just be another record-breaking year for the country superstar.

Ahead of his highly anticipated Still The Problem Tour, the RIAA’s most-certified country artist of all time gave fans a rare, up-close-and-personal preview with an intimate (by his standards) 16-song set at The Pinnacle in Nashville. The catch? You had to be one of roughly 4,000 lucky SiriusXM subscribers in the room to witness it live.

The April 2 performance wasn’t just a warm-up, it doubled as the launch party for Morgan Wallen Radio, his brand-new, year-round SiriusXM channel. And if opening night is any clue, fans are in for something special when the show airs April 7 at 4 p.m. CT on channel 64.

A Return Worth the Wait

Wallen wasted zero time setting the tone, kicking things off with his current single “Don’t We” as a sea of phones lit up the room, capturing his first live performance of 2026.

After a few months off the road, the East Tennessee native admitted the break had him second-guessing himself.

“I haven’t played a show in a few months,” Wallen told the crowd. “I’ve been hanging out with my family, hanging out in the woods a little bit, making some new music… Every time I get back up here, I think, ‘Man, why did I take so much time off?’”

Safe to say, he didn’t miss a step.

Old Favorites, New Energy

The setlist felt like a carefully curated bridge between past and present. Wallen leaned into tracks from his latest album I’m The Problem, while still making room for the songs that built his empire.

One of the night’s standout moments came when he dusted off “Chasin’ You,” telling fans, “We gotta bring it back, this is one of the first songs I wrote.” And just like that, it felt like a full-circle moment between the artist he was and the one he’s become.

Surprise Moments & Superstar Hits

As if the night needed more fuel, Ella Langley joined Wallen onstage for a crowd-pleasing rendition of “Sand In My Boots,” adding a fresh twist to a fan-favorite.

From there, Wallen brought it home in blockbuster fashion with back-to-back mega-hits “Last Night” and “Whiskey Glasses," two songs that have helped define his dominance over the past decade.

But the night didn’t end when the music stopped.

In true Wallen fashion, he stuck around, signing autographs, tossing guitar picks, and soaking in every last second with the fans who helped get him here.

A Full-Circle Moment

Perhaps the most telling part of the night came when Wallen reflected on how far he’s come, from hearing his first song on SiriusXM… to now having an entire channel dedicated to his music and influences.

“To fast forward ten years… and now have my own station 24/7—it’s an honor,” he shared. “It wouldn’t be possible without every single one of you.”

What’s Next

With Morgan Wallen Radio now officially live and the Still The Problem Tour on deck, this intimate Nashville show felt less like a one-off and more like the opening chapter of Wallen’s next era.

If this performance proved anything, it’s that time off didn’t slow him down, it just made the comeback hit that much harder.

Mark your calendars, because if you missed it in person, April 7 is your chance to hear exactly why Morgan Wallen is still very much the problem… in the best way possible.
