As somebody that came up playing in clubs, I know how important it is to have an outlet to play. Whether it’s a new artist trying to break through, maybe with a hit or two, or local artists, it gives them a venue to play and build their following. It’s not only a cool bar, but also cool for artists and out-of-town acts who can get booked here. As a struggling artist early on in my career, places like this — really well done, with great sound systems — were hard to come by. That’s what this place offers.”
