I'm thrilled to release 'Strawberry Hill' as the lead single from my bluegrass EP, 'Old Rudy Road', which stems from true stories my dad witnessed or were passed along by his father living in rural Northwest Arkansas," Jason shared with All Country News. "Named after my grandfather’s farm, Strawberry Hill embodies both family pride and the tragedies it witnessed. This song weaves a multi-generational saga, reflecting on events like my grandfather's encounter with Bonnie and Clyde and the shootout with a local sheriff's deputy. Each track on the EP paints a vivid picture of the life and death along 'Old Rudy Road', with songs set to be unveiled every six weeks. Infused with the distinctive sounds from members of the SteelDrivers, the album captures the essence of the area's roots."
