The song was first recorded in the legendary Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios in London on December 5, 2023, following Wallen's sold-out performance at The O2 just two days prior. This recording session was part of his Abbey Road Sessions, a digital series celebrating the one-year anniversary of Wallen's record-breaking third studio album, One Thing At A Time. The series, including "Lies Lies Lies," was released on March 3, 2024, and has since captivated fans worldwide.

Morgan Wallen's fans have been eagerly awaiting the official release of "Lies Lies Lies," a song that has already garnered significant attention with its YouTube video amassing 20 million views in just three months. The track's vulnerable and painfully relatable delivery has struck a chord, resonating deeply with listeners. Wallen's unique vocal style brings the story of heartache and grappling with a toxic relationship to life in a way that only he can.

At its heart, "Lies Lies Lies" is a raw anthem of heartbreak and lost love. Wallen pours his emotions into every lyric as he addresses a girl who has ghosted him. This isn't your standard tear-jerker, though. Wallen doesn't wallow in sadness; he faces the heartbreak head-on with resilience. He admits to telling himself lies to dull the pain, using them as a lifeline to keep from drowning in despair.

To mark the release of "Lies Lies Lies," Wallen will perform in the city where it was originally recorded, as he prepares for his first-ever headlining set at BST Hyde Park London on July 4. The event will feature openers Riley Green, ERNEST, Ella Langley, Alana Springsteen, Zandi Holup, and more. Limited tickets remain available for purchase at BST-HydePark.com.

Fans attending the Hyde Park show will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive U.K. merchandise, including a limited edition "Lies Lies Lies" t-shirt available online-only at Shop.MorganWallen.com starting July 5 at 9 am ET.

Beyond his musical success, Wallen is committed to giving back through The Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF). A portion of every ticket purchased for his live shows benefits MWF, which supports children's opportunities to thrive, play, and create through sports and music. To celebrate his Hyde Park debut, MWF has pledged $20,000 to support London Youth Choirs (LYC). LYC aims to improve access to singing and music for disadvantaged young people, helping them find their unique voices and thrive through music.

As Wallen continues to tease new music, his 5X Platinum album One Thing At A Time has recently returned to the top of Billboard's Country Albums chart, marking 53 weeks at No. 1—the second-longest lead in the chart's history, behind only Dangerous: The Double Album, which remained at No. 1 for 97 non-consecutive weeks.

Wallen's recent collaboration with Post Malone, "I Had Some Help," has also made waves, skyrocketing to No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart in just seven weeks—the quickest climb to No. 1 since Garth Brooks' "More Than a Memory" in 2007. This song has been declared a contender for the Song of the Summer, marking an exciting new era for Wallen.

As we await the release of "Lies Lies Lies," it's clear that Morgan Wallen continues to captivate audiences with his distinct voice and relatable storytelling. This new single is sure to be another standout in his illustrious career, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what's next from the Tennessee Kid.
