JUST IN: New Country Music Coming From Icon Randy Travis Is Coming Soon: "There Is a 100% Chance"

Today one of the most beloved names in country music Randy Travis dropped some damn good news! While he has been unable to perform or even record since suffering a stroke in 2013, it looks like North Carolinian may still have a few tricks up his sleeve.

During a press conference with All Country News and other outlets the hitmaker announced his A Heroes & Friends Tribute To Randy Travis, an all-star tribute concert coming to Huntsville, Alabama on October 24th. During the celebration Travis was also asked if there was any new music in the works.


Accompanied by his sweet wife Mary the tea was spilled!


There is a 100% chance of more Randy Travis music from the vault that has never been heard. It’s already been mixed, everything is ready to go…


We’re just waiting on the announcement of it. It’s a whole other album of Randy Travis music.”

A portion of the proceeds from the one of a kind evening will be donated to the Randy Travis Foundation. The foundation is focused on stroke and aphasia awareness and supporting music education in schools.


Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 4 at 10:00 am Central Time at the Von Braun Center box office as well as ticketmaster.com and randytravis.com.


Despite his illness, Randy has remained a steadfast ambassador for the genre. Making multiple appearances on stage and even playing beer pong with Post Malone and most recently hanging out with Morgane and Chris Stapleton at Nissan Stadium.





Needless to say this news put a smile on our faces, country music could use some new Randy Travis!
