The Baskin, Louisiana native has inspired so many along her blossoming career. A voice for change and love Lainey recently accepted a high honor from the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Joining the likes of Emmylou Harris and Faith Hill, Wilson was honored for advancing and honoring the tradition of cowgirl spirit according to Cowboys and Indians.

Lainey, who grew up hunting, fishing and embracing the cowgirl life, took to social media to share her thoughts and memories from the night.

What an honor. It feels like this award recognizes my roots, my family, my growth, and my current chapter. I left TX so inspired by the women at @cowgirlmuseum…their strength, impact, and spirit is like no other. Congratulations to all the inductees👏🏻

Lainey acceptance speech also touched on how grateful she is that the community has embraced her. "I am just so grateful for all the love that I have received, especially from this community. I feel it to my core, and I just thank y'all for lifting me up and loving me."

Lainey will be taking her cowgirl sprit on the road next year as well with her County's Cool Again Tour! Nothing gets me buzzin’ like putting on a show and singing along with the crowd,” said Wilson. “I want to give a big thank you to all of the fans who have continuously showed up and showed out this year.
