Everything is bigger in Texas, and this year RODEOHOUSTON took that to heart. The annual rodeo not only brings together some of the best rodeo competitions, but some of the biggest names in music. This year's star studded lineup will take their iconic star shaped stage, kicked off on February 27th with Blake Shelton, but it was Lainey Wilson this past weekend that stole the show.

Dawning a stunning Wrangler jumpsuit, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year played to nearly 75k fans! "This is crazy, Texas" said Wilson in the middle of her set. "The band and I have played a lot of cool places on this tour, but I think tonight's going to take the cake!"

The superstar and Grammy winner played fan favorites like "Hillbilly Hippie," "Roadrunner" and even covered "Strawberry Wine." Lainey also shared a tender moment with fans, because a special person was also in attendance. "My momma is here tonight!" she told the crowd with a smile. "I am who I am because of those who raised me and where I'm from, which is Northeast Louisiana!" she added, before going into her current single "Country's Cool Again."

The Houston Rodeo is also known for their over the top entrances and exits from the star shaped stage. A true cowgirl, instead of jumping onto the back of a Ford F-150, Lainey cantered around the stadium with her own horse. She proceeded to ride around giving high-five her fans in the front row. According to the Houston Press, Lainey became the first headliner in sometime to ride a horse off the stage.

Lainey, who has already taken home a Grammy this year will be embarking on her Australian leg of her tour before it stars off state side May 31st in Nashville.
