Label Continues Momentum with Fresh Vision and Industry Expertise.

As the reawakening of Lost Highway Records continues to capture attention across Music Row, the storied label has announced the addition of two key leaders to its Nashville-based team. Casey Thomas has been named Vice President of Marketing, and Vincent Masino has been appointed Manager of Audience Development and Content Strategy.
The appointments mark another step forward in the label’s renewed mission to serve as a home for influential, culture-shaping artists. The news follows May’s headline-making signing of Kacey Musgraves, her return to the very label that helped launch her recording career in 2011.
“Casey has built a reputation in Nashville as an innovative music marketer with a deep understanding of artistic vision and how to effectively bring that vision to life,” said Robert Knotts, Co-Head of Lost Highway. “Similarly, Vinny has a unique skillset in connecting an artist’s vision with a receptive audience across an ever-changing digital landscape. Together they will play an integral role in serving Lost Highway’s longstanding vision as a springboard for music’s most important and culture defining artists.”
Casey Thomas brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the role, having most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Partnerships at Monument Records. During her nearly seven-year tenure there, she was instrumental in developing and executing campaigns for some of the label’s marquee acts. A graduate of Boston College with a master’s degree, Thomas also has deep roots in the Nashville music community through her work at the Country Music Hall of Fame’s development department.
Meanwhile, Vincent Masino joins Lost Highway from Universal Music Group Nashville, where he specialized in digital content strategy. Masino’s career began on the independent side of the business, working as a freelance digital strategist for labels and artist management companies. A graduate of the University of North Georgia with a business administration degree in marketing and a focus on digital media, Masino brings both a sharp creative lens and strategic agility to the label’s digital efforts.
Their hiring signals Lost Highway’s focus on not just reviving a legacy, but propelling it forward. With an artist roster that once housed icons like Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Drive-By Truckers, and Robert Earl Keen, Lost Highway’s past is rich with musical impact. Now, under the leadership of Co-Heads Jake Gear and Robert Knotts, the label is looking to build a future that echoes the influence of its roots, while expanding its reach in a modern landscape.
