Luke Bryan Brings Two Young Boys Onstage To Honor Their Late Father With “Drink A Beer”

Love him or hate him Luke Bryan seems to be one of the really nice guys in country music.
At a recent show, he took the time to help two boys honor their late father on stage.
Video from this weekend’s show in Hartford, Connecticut shows Luke walking to the edge of the stage and picking up a t-shirt the two boys had been holding up.
He told the crowd that the boys had held up the t-shirt all night and turned it over to reveal the message on the t-shirt to the crowd:
“Our father died. Can we sing Drink a Beer together?”
He then invited the pair on stage to do just that, taking time to don the shirt before joining the boys to hear the chorus of his No. 1 hit of 2013, written by Chris Stapleton.
“Drink a Beer” is Bryan's song in remembrance of his brother and sister who died, and it's always emotional when he sings it in concert — so, it was fitting for this situation, too.
The boy's mom Sicari laughs now, revealing that she started shaking when Bryan brought her boys, Robert Lafranchise III, and Nash onstage. Nash notes that getting to be up there with his brother was something special.
