Megan Moroney Reveals Her Crazy Pre-Tour Routine On The BobbyCast With Bobby Bones

Megan Moroney is putting in the work, and then some as she gears up to hit the road for her highly anticipated Cloud 9 Tour.
During a recent appearance on Netflix’s Bobby Bones Presents: The BobbyCast, the rising country star pulled back the curtain on her tour prep… and let’s just say, it’s not for the faint of heart.
“My rehearsals start tomorrow,” Moroney shared, before casually dropping a detail that sounds more like an elite athlete’s training regimen than a singer’s warm-up routine. “I’ll do all my rehearsals in a weighted vest.”
Yes, you read that right.
Moroney explained that the intense approach actually came from a hard-earned realization. “I’ve underestimated how sometimes my outfits, weigh like 10 to 15 pounds,” she admitted. “And when I’ve done the performance, I’m like, ‘Oh shit, I am not in shape for this.’”
So, what’s her solution? Train like the outfit is already on.
But she doesn’t stop there.
The “Tennessee Orange” hitmaker is taking things to another level by singing while walking on a treadmill, with that weighted vest on. Add in daily sauna sessions and cold tub plunges, and Moroney’s pre-tour routine starts to sound like something straight out of a pro athlete’s playbook.
Still, for her, it’s all worth it.
“Physically, this feels like it’s such a positive grind though,” she said, embracing the challenge. And while it may seem extreme from the outside, Moroney knows exactly what it takes to deliver night after night on stage. “I don’t think a lot of people would understand… it takes all of that for you to do all that just to get ready for this.”
With the Cloud 9 Tour kicking off soon, one thing’s for sure, Megan Moroney isn’t just showing up. She’s showing up ready.
