Mike Ryan Stuns On Cutting-Edge New Album "Longcut"
Independent singer/songwriter Mike Ryan continues his musical journey with his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Longcut. The new project shows Ryan's artistic growth since his earlier release, Blink You'll Miss It, and introduces fresh perspectives to country music.

Longcut adds a collection of songs to the critically acclaimed artist's no-skip discography. Previously landing nine #1 hits on Texas music charts, as well as a top 15 Billboard Heatseekers Album (Blink You'll Miss It), Ryan again puts his impeccable vocal and penning skills on full display. This album is sure to spawn more charting hits, perhaps even landing him major awards such as CMA and ACM trophies. With over a decade in the industry under his belt, the burgeoning star continues to prove that he is a force to be reckoned with.
Ryan has been named a Rolling Stone Artist You Need to Know, Pandora Artist to Watch, and Billboard Top 40 independent artist. While he is a relatively up-and-coming name as a singer, Ryan is a veteran songwriter in Nashville. Notably, he co-wrote Brad Paisley's top 20 hit "Last Time For Everything." A phenomenal live performer, Ryan brings a certain energy and charisma to his shows. Most recently, he opened for Morgan Wallen at the Globe Life Stadium, matching the superstar's skill and grit. Fans still have the opportunity to catch him at a couple more tour stops supporting Longcut, in Fayetteville, AR (11/18) and Little Rock, AR (11/19). Furthermore, Ryan will achieve the milestone of his Grand Ole Opry debut on November 8th. We can't wait to see live renditions of Longcut's tracks, which have quickly become our new favorite songs.
Longcut puts Ryan's developed artistry and communicative, descriptive songwriting on full display. From the intense, charming single "Die Runnin" to the steady, farming-inspired "Forgiveness and Rain," the album's thirteen tracks cover a variety of themes and subjects, showing Ryan's impressive versatility. While rooted in classic country, the project picks up notes from rock and alternative influences, which gives it a unique and irresistible sound. Longcut is some of Ryan's best work yet, well worth the five-year wait.
