Miranda Lambert Is Kicking Off a Brand-New Nashville Venue With a One-Night-Only Show, And She’s Bringing Crisco With Her

Miranda Lambert fans might want to clear their calendars for Oct. 1, because the country superstar is planning a Nashville night that sounds unlike anything she’s done before.

Just one day before her highly anticipated new album, Crisco, arrives on Oct. 2 via MCA, the three-time GRAMMY Award winner will officially open Nashville’s newest live music venue, The Truth, with a special headlining performance dubbed “Miranda Lambert: One Night Only.”

And this won’t be just another stop on the road.

Lambert is promising a full set packed with fan-favorite hits from throughout her award-winning career, plus an early taste of select songs from Crisco, all with an added musical twist that could make the night one for the books.

The Texas native will be joined by a 12-piece string section, bringing a completely new sound to songs fans already know and love.

“It was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record, and I can’t wait to bring that to life in an even bigger way with our full setlist,” Lambert shared. “We’ve never gotten to play that way on stage, and to have the opportunity to do it for the first time at the opening of a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville is going to be really special.”

Miranda Lambert Is Making History at Nashville’s Newest Venue

Located in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, The Truth is a brand-new 4,400-capacity venue, and Lambert will have the honor of becoming the first artist to headline its stage.

For an artist whose career has been so closely connected to Music City, the setting makes the celebration of her next musical chapter even more fitting.

The performance arrives at the perfect moment, too.

Lambert is preparing to step into a colorful new era with Crisco, an album described as a vibrant, joyful collection that explores the often-overlooked connection between country music’s dance hall roots and the unmistakable energy of disco.

Yes, Miranda Lambert is bringing country and disco together, and Nashville fans are about to get one of the first chances to hear what that sounds like live.

Fans Could Get an Early Taste of Crisco

Lambert has already offered several glimpses into the upcoming record.

The project includes the dreamy, California-inspired “Sunset Marquis,” along with the previously released title track “Crisco,” “Till The Going’s Gone” and her GRAMMY-nominated Chris Stapleton duet, “A Song To Sing.”

Together, the early releases hint at a playful, adventurous project from an artist who has never been afraid to follow her creative instincts.

Now, Lambert is preparing to take that sound from the studio to the stage — strings and all.

Exactly which Crisco songs will make the Oct. 1 setlist remains to be seen, but with new music, career-spanning hits, a 12-piece string section and the historic opening night of a new Nashville venue all happening at once, this is shaping up to be much more than a typical album-release-week concert.

It’s a Miranda Lambert night Nashville fans may not get the chance to experience twice.

Tickets for “Miranda Lambert: One Night Only” go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. CTthrough The Truth’s official website. Crisco arrives Oct. 2.
