Morgan Evans, Mitchell Tenpenny & More To Headline Cancer Fundraiser WeishFest

WeishFest is back! The one-night-only music festival returns for its ninth year. Fans can catch country stars Morgan Evans (“Over For You”, “Dance With Me”) and Mitchell Tenpenny (“Truth About You, “We Got History”) at this fundraising event. Other performers include The Fray, the iconic band behind “How To Save A Life,” the genre-defying Quinn XCII, and a plethora of up-and-coming regional performers. The festival takes place in Merrionette Park, IL, on Friday, December 2nd.

Every year, WeishFest raises money for the Andrew Weishar Foundation. This nonprofit aids the underfunded and underrepresented demographic of adolescents and young adults battling cancer. 100% of the proceeds bring direct financial relief to these patients’ families. The organization is named for the late Andrew Weish, who himself was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in his freshman year of college. Immense support from his family, friends, and surrounding community helped him through the last few years of his life. His dying request was for that kindness to be paid forward, and from there, WeishFest was born.
