Australian-born country artist Morgan Evans is gearing up for a new chapter in his career, announcing a partnership with Virgin Music Group for his upcoming releases. The news was shared by Evans on his Instagram story, giving fans a glimpse of what’s ahead from the singer-songwriter known for hits like “Over For You” and “Day Drunk”.

Evans teased at this fresh beginning with a personal message, captioning a recent Instagram post: “Sometimes when you get lost, you gotta go back to the start… ‘Beer Back Home’ Oct. 10.” The new track marks his first release under the Virgin Music Group banner.
“I’m stoked to partner with Virgin Music Group on this record,” said Evans. “They’ve built a global team that gets Nashville, Europe, Australia, and they get me. The industry’s changing fast, but their model keeps artists in control, especially creatively. I couldn’t be prouder of this new music or more excited to share it with the world alongside the legends at VMG. Let's go!”
Launched in September 2022, Virgin Music Group, part of Universal Music Group, has been rapidly expanding its Nashville footprint by partnering with breakout and established artists across the country, such as Trisha Yearwood (“She’s in Love with the Boy”) who joined the roster in May 2025.
With millions of streams and a wide international fanbase, Evans has long balanced heartfelt ballads and crowd-pleasing anthems. Set to arrive October 10, “Beer Back Home” will be the first taste of this next era with Virgin Music Group. As Evans reminded fans in his hit “Kiss Somebody,” sometimes it only takes a spark to start something big, making this new chapter one to watch.
