Ella Langley and Kings of Leon join Wallen as headliners, while Koe Wetzel, Nelly, Kygo and more turn Gulf Shores into one seriously tempting group-chat vacation.

If your group chat needed an excuse to start planning a beach trip, Morgan Wallen just handed it one.

Wallen and AEG Presents have revealed the lineup for Sand In My Boots 2027, returning to Gulf Shores, Alabama, May 21–23. And if you expected three days of strictly country music, this bill has a few surprises waiting.

Morgan Wallen, Kings of Leon and Ella Langley will headline, leading a festival that puts country singalongs, Southern hip-hop, alternative rock and electronic music on the same beach-weekend itinerary.

Yes, you could spend your weekend singing along with Cole Swindell, catching Third Eye Blind and making time for Gucci Mane. That is quite a vacation.

Ella Langley’s Return Comes With a Major Upgrade

One of the biggest stories on the lineup is Langley’s climb to the top.

After performing at Sand In My Boots’ inaugural edition in 2025, she returns in 2027 with headliner billing and “Choosin’ Texas” behind her. The Billboard record-breaking hit has logged 25 weeks and counting at No. 1, adding another major milestone to her arrival atop this festival poster.

For fans who caught her first Sand In My Boots appearance, this return offers a chance to watch her command an even bigger moment.

Kings of Leon complete the headlining trio, bringing a catalog spanning 10 studio albums, including the forthcoming O My Beloved. Between their arena-sized rock anthems, Langley’s country swagger and Wallen’s deep bench of hits, the top of this bill alone gives fans plenty to debate.

The Country Lineup Goes Way Beyond the Headliners

Start scrolling, because there are reasons to arrive early.

Koe Wetzel, Cole Swindell, Avery Anna, Midland, Gavin Adcock, Kameron Marlowe and Hudson Westbrook are all headed to Gulf Shores. So are Kashus Culpepper, Carter Faith, Corey Kent and Vincent Mason, giving country fans a packed list of sets to work into their weekend.

Wetzel’s rowdy edge. Midland’s honky-tonk cool. Marlowe’s powerhouse vocals. Anna’s emotional storytelling. There is enough range here to make choosing a meeting spot with your friends surprisingly complicated.

And that is before you reach the rest of the poster.

Nelly, Kygo and Third Eye Blind on the Same Bill? Absolutely.

Wallen’s listening habits clearly stretch beyond country radio, and Sand In My Boots follows suit.

Nelly, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Project Pat, Ying Yang Twins and Flo Rida bring a substantial hip-hop presence. Kygo, Empire Of The Sun and Girl Talk add another dimension, while Third Eye Blind supplies the alternative-rock nostalgia.

The appeal is in those unexpected combinations: a weekend where fans can catch a longtime favorite, wander into something different and leave with a new addition to their playlist.

Morgan’s Beach Weekend Has a Bigger Purpose, Too

Wallen’s involvement extends across the lineup and festival experiences, making Sand In My Boots a window into the artists, collaborators and influences that shape his musical world.

His Morgan Wallen Foundation will also continue its community work through the event. Following the 2025 festival, the foundation donated more than $200,000 in instruments to five Alabama schools. Its Tour Give Back initiative has contributed more than $2 million worth of instruments to schools across U.S. touring cities.

After a sold-out debut in 2025, Sand In My Boots is returning with a lineup that gives fans plenty of reasons to circle the dates.

Now comes the difficult part: convincing the group chat that three days at the beach counts as a necessary expense.
