October Tour Round-Up

September 24, 2021

Live music is back and isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Here are some of the upcoming tours you won’t want to miss this fall.

Kicking off October, Kane Brown is back on the road for his Blessed & Free Tour starting on October 1st in Sacramento, California. His Blessed & Free Tour follows his World Wide Beautiful Tour, which began in September. The new tour is set to span 35 dates and includes 29 shows at NBA arenas, making Brown the first country artist to play every professional basketball stadium in America over the course of a single tour. Jordan Davis and Restless Road are set to join Brown for shows through December, with Chase Rice replacing Davis in January.

Midland and Ruston Kelly will also be resuming their tour plans, setting out on October 7th. Midland’s The Last Resort Tour begins in Phoenix, Arizona, and will wrap on December 16th in Shreveport, Louisiana, while Ruston Kelly’s Shape and Destroy North American Tour kicks off in Canada and is set to end in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 21st. Midland will be joined by singer-songwriter Hailey Whitters, and Kelly will be accompanied by indie-folk singer Margaret Glaspy.

Chris Young’s Famous Freinds Tour is slated to kick off on October 21st in Little Rock, Arkansas. Young will be joined by “famous friends,” Callista Clark, Matt Stell, Payton Smith, and more, over the tour’s 13 show run wrapping in Connecticut on December 5th.

Brandy Clark is relaunching her Who You Thought I Was Tour on October 25th in Portland, Oregon. The trek includes 16 rescheduled dates across the country, closing out in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 21st.

Other notable tours scheduled to commence in October include Kip Moore’s How High Tour on October 14th, Jason Isbell’s Ryman Auditorium Residency on October 15th, and Katie Pruitt’s Expectations Tour.

Closing out the October tours is Chris Lane’s Fill Them Boots Tour, scheduled to begin on October 28th in Memphis, Tennessee, and run through mid-March of 2020, ending in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania. Lane’s “big, big plans” include Ernest, Tyler Rich, and up-and-comer Lily Rose.

Lastly, Riley Green, Carly Pearce, Brett Eldredge, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, and more have announced tours beginning in November and December.
