It’s no secret that today’s country stars make a significant fortune off of their music, and many use it to invest in a breathtaking dream home! Icons such as Kacey, Shania, Taylor, and others reside in breathtaking abodes that we wish we owned. A home is often reflective of one’s identity and lifestyle, and that surely applies to our favorite singers too! Without further ado, here are some of our favorite owned by country artists!

Kacey Musgraves

The “Space Cowboy” artist’s Tennessee house strikes a perfect balance between minimalist and extravagant. The modern, tranquil home is partially hidden behind trees, and its interior is filled with an elegant color palette of neutrals. In November 2022, she sold it for $2.5 million to fellow superstar Kelsea Ballerini.

George Strait

It is only fitting that the king of country music has a castle! Strait holds the record for the most number one hits in country music history and has sold 70 million records in America alone – so it's no real wonder that he can afford to build himself a customised masterpiece. The property sits on over 12 acres of land and offers almost 8,000 square feet of inside space, not to mention a gorgeous garden with an infinity-edge pool and spa overlooking San Antonio.

Shania Twain

The “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” singer owns a stunning vacation home in the Bahamas, on New Providence Island. Situated on a sandy beach, it has clear views of the Atlantic Ocean and a couple of pools in the backyard. The calm, rustic aesthetic of its interior adds a nice touch as well. Built in 2004, it is now worth $10.9 million!

Taylor Swift

The global superstar’s colonial mansion is located in Westerly, Rhode Island. Previously, it has been known as Harkness House (after former owner Rebekah Harkness), Holiday House, and High Watch. It hosted the singer’s infamous Fourth of July parties during her Red and 1989 album cycles, and its history inspired her song “the last great american dynasty.” Currently, it’s valued at $17 million.

Alan Jackson

The legendary crooner has opted to live in Franklin, TN, about a 45 minute drive from Nashville. His hilltop mansion, which he sold for $19 million in 2021, contains a bar, piano room, pool house, and outdoor kitchen, among countless other luxuries. Located in gorgeous woodlands, it looks like something out of a fairytale.

Dolly Parton

The simplistic nature of the star’s West Hollywood, CA home contrasts with her glamorous looks and outgoing personality that have become her brand. The $1.4 million home seems much cozier and smaller than others on this list, but is still iconic in its own ways. We love a frugal queen!

Overall, it's clear that country musicians have immaculate taste, both in interior and exterior design. They truly get to live the dream lifestyle, even when they're not on the road!
