Our Favorite Moments From Crash My Playa 2023

Last weekend, superstar Luke Bryan hosted Crash My Playa for the eighth year in a row. In this one-of-a-kind concert vacation, fans flocked to Cancun, Mexico for four days of epic live country music. The luxurious Moon Palace Cancun hosts the all-inclusive event, treating its guests to local microbrew beer, fresh churros, pool parties, and much more.

We may have settled back into our normal routines by now, but the memories made there will last forever. With that, here's our favorite moments of the greatest weekend getaway ever!

Pool party concerts

We've never seen a concert with this setup anywhere else. Fans watched artists like Chase Rice, Ashley McBryde, and Dustin Lynch from a pool that surrounded the stage.

Crash My Playa veteran Dustin Lynch also got the most iconic introduction. “The longest standing representative of Crash My Playa. No one has drank more liquor, no one has vomited more, no one has taken more drugs, no one has taken more IVs, no one has passed more STD tests than this next gentlemen right here. He has got a clean bill, he does not have diseases, give it up for Dustin Lynch!" said Luke Bryan of his friend.

A special appearance from Mama Bryan!

Luke's mom is truly her son's biggest fan, and he'd let her crash his party anytime. LeClaire Bryan made a grand entrance, along with a bold Instagram announcement, as she returned to Cancun.

Carly Pearce's show-stopping performance of "Woman Down"

The superstar blew us away with this fan-favorite feminist anthem, which sounds even better live. Her stage presence and vocals are truly unmatched! If Thursday's set is any indication, we have a feeling that 2023 will be this queen's year!

Check out @carlyp_connect's recent story highlight for more videos of Carly's performances at Crash My Playa! The star also sang "You Kissed Me First," "Every Little Thing," and of course her Top 10 (!!) hit "What He Didn't Do."

She also filled in during Lainey Wilson's verse, when Cole Swindell performed his hit "Never Say Never." We need this version of the song on Spotify, like, yesterday.

Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie sharing the stage

Crash My Playa culminated in Luke Bryan's Sunday headlining set, which included a special surprise for fans. Lionel Richie, the star's longtime friend and fellow American Idol judge, joined him onstage to perform a greatest hits medley. This included "Brick House," "Dancing On The Ceiling," and "Stuck On You." What a way to close out the festival!

What a time! We've loved following along with Crash My Playa 2023; Luke Bryan somehow manages to outdo himself each year (please teach us your ways, king.) That's a wrap on a truly unforgettable weekend!
