Priscilla Block Stuns In "Me Pt. 2" Ahead Of Releasing A Deluxe Version Of Her Latest Album
Country’s hottest newcomer, Priscilla Block, is gearing up to release the deluxe version of her phenomenal debut, Welcome To The Block Party. Prior to the February 10th release date, the artist drops “Me Pt. 2,” a poignant ballad about an ex moving on.
“Was there something more in her baby blues you didn’t see in mine?” wonders Block of the new girl. “I heard she’s five foot some change / Amazing grace, a little crazy / What is it she does that adds up to what I couldn’t do?” she continues, before concluding the chorus with “I hope you’re happy you found Me Part 2.” The biting lyrics call out an ex who rebounded on a girl extremely similar to Block herself, establishing that the singer doesn’t have time for his games. Many can relate to this unfortunate experience following a breakup, and Block’s new music is here to help us heal.

Creating the perfect blend of country pop and southern rock, Block has a natural talent for raw lyricism against bold melodies. Since bursting onto the scene with the TikTok viral hit “Just About Over You,” the artist has continued to develop her own subgenere within country music, influenced by a variety of legends including Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, and Kelly Clarkson. What fans seem to love most about her, however, is her transparency and authenticity in her craft.
2022 has served as her breakthrough year, with her first full-length album and headlining tour. This year, she has already scored an iHeartRadio award nomination for Best New Country Artist. We can’t wait to see what else this year has in store for her - and we have no doubt that the upcoming deluxe version of Welcome To The Block Party will become one of 2023’s bestselling new releases. This queen is just getting started!
