Randy Houser's Signature Grit Shines In “Rub A Little Dirt On It”

Country star Randy Houser, known for hits such as “How Country Feels” and “Runnin Outta Moonlight,” just dropped a brand new single. The calm, feel-good track, entitled “Rub A Little Dirt On It,” details various lessons Houser learned in his small town upbringing. Jeff Hyde and Ryan Tendell collaborated with Houser to write the song

This is Houser’s third single in 2022, following “Note To Self” and “Still That Cowboy.” All three of these songs precede Houser’s upcoming studio album, set to drop on November 11th of this year.

Houser had actually teased "Rub A Little Dirt On It" and "Note To Self" back in December 2020, while stuck at home with the coronavirus. He passed time by recording acoustic performances of some new songs he was writing. We also remember “Take It To The Bank,” posted that same week, and hope he releases this one soon too!

With meaningful lyrics and Houser’s usual heartfelt vocals, “Rub A Little Dirt On It” encourages us to remain tough in the face of life’s obstacles. He gives us the best advice with his insightful songwriting: “When life gets a little hurt on it, get in the middle of nowhere and rub a little dirt on it.” This single gets us even more excited for Houser’s first album in three years!
