“This EP represents what I’ve been through over the last year,” Gee shares. “From thinking I was going to get married, to getting dumped on the same day my grandpa passed, to losing my dog shortly after, my car breaking down, and even being betrayed by one of my best friends, it was a lot.”

It’s the kind of run-on sentence life hands you when everything falls apart at once. And instead of retreating, Gee ran straight into it, writing and recording the entire project in just two weeks.

“Writing all of these songs within two weeks was intense,” she continues, “but it was also incredibly inspiring. Producing the project myself made it feel even more personal and honest.”
