Tailgates and Tallboys Returns to Bloomington Illinois in 2023 with Star-Studded Lineup

Country music paradise is heading back to Central Illinois in June 2023. The premier event of the summer, “Tailgates and Tallboys” will return for 4 days on June 14-17, 2023 and it comes with a lineup that includes some of the hottest country stars in the business right now in addition to one of the most iconic rock bands.

Headliners for the festival in Bloomington, IL include Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, and Nickelback. Bailey Zimmerman, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wade, and Lily Rose are just a few of the featured artists opening for the headlining crews Thursday to Sunday.

The lineup has gotten the attention of the country stars on Instagram as well, with Parker McCollum commenting a “Let’s gooo” and Ashley Cooke responding “cant wait to see y’all”. Jackson Dean replied, “Gonna be a time”. There was even some back and forth on Instagram between Bailey Zimmerman and Nickelback, a collaboration we may have to see some time either in Bloomington, or in the very near future.

The Tailgates and Tallboys festival, which takes place in four different cities throughout the year, including Bloomington, IL; Taylorville, IL; Clinton, IA; and Auburn, MI draws huge crowds coming from all across the country.
