Texas Troubadour Wade Bowen Announces New Album 'Flyin' Due Out May 10th. Previews Project With Single 'Rainin On Me'
The Texas staple's highly anticipated new project will feature twelve tracks all produced by Wade.

Country music veteran and Texas stronghold Wade Bowen is back with with this 10th studio album 'Flyin' out May 10th. Known for his dynamic songwriting and stylistic sonics, each of the twelve tracks range from old fashioned honky-tonk country to gut-wrenching ballads, classic rock and even a love song to Texas that highlights how his home state shaped who he is today.
“More than ever, people need to hear songwriters talk about their lives,” Bowen said in a press statement. “We don’t always have to search for monster hits. We can just write about our lives and maybe that might actually work. That’s what this record is a lot of. A lot of massive songs, but also a lot of me just writing authentically and honestly about my life.”
Beloved for his powerful storylines, fans of Bowen won't have to wait until May 10th for a taste of the album. To accompany the album announcement, Wade released the first single from the album, “Rainin On Me,” with an accompanying music video.
The mid temp track features Wade's signature vocal alongside an upbeat Texas sized beat. Penned alongside good friend Randy Montana, “Rainin on Me” is an up-tempo, Eagles-inspired track that takes Bowen back to the music he listened to growing up. Feverishly dynamic, the track adds some playfulness to Bowen's impressive discography.

A road warrior at heart, Bowen continues to let touring take the center stage, performing more than 200 dates a year across the U.S. He currently has a steady stream of festivals and tour dates lined up for the year, including a special run during May in his hometown of New Braunfels, TX alongside long-time friend and collaborator, Miranda Lambert.
