The first ever PALOMINO FESTIVAL!
Updated: Jul 13, 2022
Tucked away in Pasadena, California, Palomino Festival was every Los Angeles country lover's dream! The one-day festival featured an all-star lineup of performers - all the way from the dreamy voice of Jaime Wyatt to the legend Willie Nelson to everyone's favorite mystery artist, Orville Peck.

Our team at All Country News was lucky enough to attend the festival and we had such a great time we had to share it with you! The day started early, and hot, with absolutely beautiful performances by Logan Ledger and Jaime Wyatt. The festival was set up perfectly, with two stages paralleling each other, and rotating performances so ticket holders could catch every show.

Throughout the afternoon, we were graced with shows by Low Cut Connie, Sierra Hull, Sierra Ferrell, Amythyst Kiah, and Langhorne Slim. Between sets, fans enjoyed refreshments and treats from some of our favorite local vendors including 818 and Monty's Good Burger. Our team even met LA celebrity, Monty, himself.

The day continued with more knockout shows from Valerie June, Nikki Lane, Morgan Wade, Paul Cauthen, and Charley Crockett. The crowd gathered to cheer on Zach Bryan, moving to the Lefty Stage at 6:00PM for Turnpike Troubadours.

The festival had so many things to explore! There were around ten pop-up booths with goodies for purchase, from western t-shirts at Midnight Rider, to native jewelry at Stormie Art. After looking around a bit more, we enjoyed a fun performance from Orville Peck and his band, the fan-favorite Old Crow Medicine Show, and the icon himself, Willie Nelson & Family. As the sun set, everyone rushed to watch Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit mesmerize with their vocals and instrumentals.

The evening closed out with the ever so lovely Kacey Musgraves performing her classic ballads for the in-awe audience. Overall, the festival was a day full of highs! With incredible music, good eats, and refreshing cocktails. We can't wait for Palomino Fest 2023!
