Thompson Square Beautifully Illustrate Their Love For Each Other In "Without You"

Husband and wife duo Thompson Square, consisting of Keifer and Shawna Thompson, are back! After taking a break in late 2022, due to Shawna's health, they just released some new music. The pair's first release of the new year is the sensational "Without You."

A systematic buildup, consistent baseline of finger picking, and pulsating drum beat characterize the song. The steady, feel-good, radio-friendly track sees Thompson Square building on their tried and true style of country pop. Incorporating a string of illustrative metaphors, it best exemplifies how Thompson Square nail conversational lyrics that tell a story.

Evidenced by much of their previous work, including the hit “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” Thompson Square is no stranger to mesmerizing, layered harmonies. It doesn't get more authentic than a laid-back love song performed by a real-life married couple.

Thompson Square recently completed a few dates, and are set to play at the CMA Fest in a few months. While we can't take "Without You" off repeat, we really hope they announce more soon, like an album! The duo is just beginning to make 2023 their year!
