Tucker Wetmore isn’t slowing down, in fact, he’s sprinting straight toward country music superstardom.
The breakout hitmaker has officially gone three-for-three at country radio as his latest smash, “Brunette,” rockets to No. 1 on both the Mediabase Country and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week. Even more impressive? It’s officially Wetmore’s fastest-rising radio hit yet.

Following the massive success of “Wind Up Missin’ You” and “3,2,1,” the rising country powerhouse has now achieved what only a select few artists in Nashville history can claim: his first three singles have all hit No. 1.
That’s not just hot, that’s historic.
The massive chart victory arrives just weeks after Wetmore stole the spotlight at the 61st ACM Awards, where he took home the trophy for New Male Artist of the Year and delivered an explosive performance of “Brunette” that had fans and critics buzzing long after the show ended.
And honestly? This moment feels bigger than just another No. 1.
Wetmore’s rise over the past year has been nothing short of meteoric. His debut album
What Not To became the biggest country debut album from a new artist in 2025, landing at No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and helping catapult the singer past a staggering 2.4 billion global streams.
Yes — billion.
The Back Blocks Music/MCA/Mercury Records star has rapidly transformed from promising newcomer into one of the hottest names in country music, and fans can’t get enough.
Now, Wetmore is gearing up for another massive summer. The singer is set to return to CMA Fest, taking over Nissan Stadium on Thursday, June 4, before launching the next leg of his wildly successful Brunette World Tour. After selling out shows across Europe, including a huge London stop last month, Wetmore is bringing the party stateside with a stacked lineup of tour dates and special guests.
And if that wasn’t enough, he’ll also hit the road with country heavyweights Jordan Davis, HARDY, and Brooks & Dunn for select shows later this year.
At this point, it feels like Tucker Wetmore already kicked the door down.
