Tyler Hubbard Drops "Dancin' In The Country" Music Video One Week Ahead of Debut Solo Album Release
The countdown is on for Tyler Hubbard's highly-anticipated solo debut record, which comes out this Friday! Simply titled Tyler Hubbard, the project will essentially serve as a re-introduction of the Florida Georgia Line star, taking a more personal and free-flowing approach. Last Friday, Hubbard added "Dancin' In The Country" to the long list of music video releases ahead of the album's release. This one's a special one - for instance, it stars the legendary actor and former NFL athlete Terry Crews.

"This video is unlike any video that I’ve ever been a part of," reflected Hubbard. Referring to Crews as "the ultimate heavy hitter," he thoroughly enjoyed their time on set working together. "He was made for a video like this. One minute, he looked like he was ready to punch a hole in the wall, and the next, he’s got the entire room laughing, just being himself. Terry is one of those guys that everyone wants to be around, and he was just perfect for this video.”
The "Dancin' In The Country" set truly seems like a positive, energetic environment that we wish we could've been part of! However, at least we can live vicariously through this amazing behind the scenes video.
Just like with many of Hubbard's other music videos as a solo artist, movement comprises a huge element of the storytelling. “Terry and the dancers brought the choreography to life and were able to tell the story through their amazing dancing,” the singer added.
“I was so excited to be asked to do this video with Tyler and when I saw the concept, I thought there was no one else that could pull this off,” shared Crews. “This video is like a three-minute touchdown celebration, and it was so great to be a part of. For Tyler to allow me to represent something he wrote from his heart means a lot and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
"Dancin' In The Country" also serves as the title track of Hubbard's summer 2022 EP; all six of its tracks will feature on Hubbard's debut album. The record-breaking success from his Florida Georgia Line days carries over into his solo career, as Dancin' In The Country is the second best-selling country EP debut of last year.
Unless he pulls a last-minute surprise on us, this is Hubbard's ninth and final music video before Tyler Hubbard officially drops. We can't wait to hear what is sure to be one of 2023's most triumphant debuts. We're so grateful to be witnessing the start of this superstar's brand new musical chapter!
