VIDEO PREMIERE: Sarahbeth Taite Relishes In Life's Little Moments In New Video For "Pretty Good Living"

“This song is the soundtrack of where I am in life right now and certainly of a time my co-writers have lived in as well,” shared Taite.

Country music is truly the story of our lives, and no one showcased that better than emerging country songstress and new mom Sarahbeth Taite. 2022 was a big year for Taite as she shined on American Idol, and then welcomed her first child, Isla, with husband Colby later that fall.  She quickly embraced her new role as a wife, and young mother, often writing about her experiences in her music. Now, nearly two years later, she is ready to tell her story that she says is really ours.

Narrating the humble growing pains that we all go through, Taite reflects in her new single, "Pretty Good Living." Sarahbeth's sweet southern tone weaves a beautiful story and finds common ground with what she refers to as her suburban country lifestyle fan base. From bills growing on trees, to the loving after a long day at work, Taite manages to perfectly capture the ups and downs life can bring.

Penned by Sarahbeth alongside Scott Stepakoff and Jason Gantt, Taite admits that the song really came out so naturally during their writing session. After posting a demo to TikTok the track struck a poignant chord with fans on social media. Get this, the single has gone viral with nearly 23+ million views and counting of videos using the song. "Wow, this hit hard, as a struggling married couple I needed to hear this to be reminded that we will get through this," one fan even commented.

“This song is the soundtrack of where I am in life right now and certainly of a time my co-writers have lived in as well,” said Sarahbeth. “The lyrics just spilled out as we talked about these sweet years, and I’m thrilled that my story has made such a connection with fans on social media.”

Premiering exclusively with All Country News, the accompanying video serves as an honest snapshot of where Sarahbeth and her family are right now. "Selfishly, I just want this footage for the rest of my life. I want to just capture this moment in time forever," Sarahbeth told All Country News. "I know we're going to cherish this as she just gets older and grows, and this song and the video both are really just this little snapshot of exactly where we're at right now," Taite continued.

Highlighted by a tender melody and real life experiences, Taite reminds us all to slow down and be thankful for where we are right now, even if it is a little hard. Steadfast in creating stories that country music fans can find themselves in, Sarahbeth Taite is helping to lead the charge for powerhouse women in the genre.
