While music icon Kenny Rogers may have passed in 2020, his music and legacy live on. Back in 2021, Kenny Rogers: All In For The Gambler, was a prerecord special honoring the life and music of the Texan.

The iconic song was first written in 1976 by Don Schlitz, and recorded by a variety of artists over the years. Yet, it was Kenny who made the song a mainstream hit! Rogers 'version was a No. 1 country hit, and made its way to the pop charts at a time when country songs rarely crossed over. Released in November 1978 as the title track from his album The Gambler, the catchy track also won him the Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 1980.

It really comes as no surprise that Chris' sweet tone matches perfectly with the iconic song!
