It is so shock that breakout star Jelly Roll has had the tour of the summer. Sold out show after sold out show is making headlines. From thanking veterans to inviting fans on stage, Jelly has proven he is one of the best our genre has to offer.
During his concert at Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, Texas on Thursday (Sept. 21) fans were treated with one of the biggest surprises from the tour, an appearance by label mate and duet partner, Lainey Wilson.
Singing the first verse of their duet Save Me solo, Jelly did his best to keep the surprise well a surprise. Letting his fans relish in the moment, Lainey entered from stage left with no intro. Needless to say the crowd went NUTS!
Jelly recently sat down with Canada's Pure Country stating that performing the track live with Lainey is electric.
Lainey also took to social media sharing photos from the incredible moment, to which Jelly said "I couldn’t hear the music over the roar of the crowd when you walked out— couldn’t have asked a better person to be on “Save Me” - love you FOR EVER"
The news of the epic collab first broke during this year's ACM Awards. The track also officially impacted radio on September 5, earning an impressive 60 first-week adds on country stations around the US, and is currently still climbing the charts.
